What do we want when we have to entertain a guest _ Less hassle in the kitchen. I had this very picky group of guest coming over in which one of them didn’t eat chicken while other didn’t eat fish and one of them didn’t like much of veg food. Egg felt like the safest choice to serve them. This is stuffed egg with Indian spices super easy to make and served cold.
Cooking time: 20 min
Serves: 4 people
Ingredients:
12 – Egg
1 – Onion (big – fine chop)
1 – Tomato (big – fine chop, remove the middle)
3 tbsp – Cream (optional)
3-4 tsp – Red chilli powder
1 tsp – Pepper
pinch – Garam masala
Salt to taste.
Method:
Boil water in a pot. When the water is boiling put egg in it gently. Let it boil for 10-12 minutes. Then remove from water and pour cold water over it. Remove the shell and cut the egg in half. Remove the yolk and put in a bowl. Keep the egg aside on a plate or tray.
The bowl in which yolk is kept, add cream and spices. Mix properly to have smooth texture. Add chopped onion and tomato. Mix again then put the mixture on the egg by spoon or pipping bag.
Garnish with chopped coriander and sprinkle red chilli power on top. Serve it cold.
Note:
You can replace cream with avocado.
Happy munching! 🍳🍅🥚🌶🌰🍴
