Ingredients:
1/2 kg – Chicken minced
1 tsp – Ginger
2-3 tsp – Garlic
2 tsp – Green chilly (chop)
1 – Onion (big – chop)
2-3 tbsp – Oil
2 – Egg
1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder (Haldi)
2-3 tsp – Red chilli powder
1 1/2 tsp – Garam masala (whole Indian spices grounded)
1/2 cup – Cheese (small cube)
2 tbsp – Coriander (chop)
1/2 cup – bread crumbs (optional)
Method:
In a small pan heat 2 tbsp oil. Saute ginger, garlic, green chilly and onion. Saute till golden brown. In a mixing bowl, put all ingredients except cheese and mix well.
Make small cube of cheese. Take desired amount of minced chicken mixture in hand (depending on the size of balls needed). Flatten it on the palm of the hand. Put cheese cube in middle. Cover the cheese with the excess minced chicken mixture in hand. See to it that the mixture covers the cheese entirely.
In a pan, heat oil and put the meatballs on it. Cook on slow flame and see that its golden brown from all sides.
Sprinkle little chop coriander as garnish. Serve with green chutney.
Note:
If you don’t want to put cheese cube in the middle, the other way is to grind cheese with coriander. Do not chop coriander and instead put it in a mixer along with cheese grind and put it in minced mixture.
Happy munching! 🍗🥗🥢🍽🥘
