
A deliciously healthy palak paneer with jeera rice (cumin rice). This dish is one of my favorite vegetarian dishes. It is actually simple and doesn’t have too much spices also very fast to make.

Ingredients:
2-3 – Spinach bunch (roughly chop)
300 g – Paneer (cottage cheese – cubed)
2 – Onion (chop)
1 – Tomato (chop)
6-7 – Garlic cloves (chop)
1 1/2 tsp – Garam masala
Oil as required
Cream for garnish.
Salt to taste.
Ingredients:
In a pot heat 1-2 tbsp oil. Put half of chopped onion and garlic. Saute until golden brown. Put chopped tomato and saute. Put spinach, saute. Add a cup of water, garam masala and salt. Stir and let it boil once.
In a pan, heat 2-3 tbsp oil. Put paneer on it. Let it get light brown on all sides.
Now, in a blender put the spinach mixture. Blend it properly. In same pot heat oil. Saute rest of the onion and garlic. Saute till golden brown. Put spinach puree, stir. Adjust salt and garam masala if needed. Add paneer (cottage cheese) and stir gently. If its too thick add little water.
Garnish with cream and serve with jeera rice or steam rice.
