This one is one of the most simple dish I love to cook and eat on a lazy day. It’s light as well as filling. So delicious and quick to make with very few household ingredients. Try it out.

Cooking time: 20-30 min

Calorie per fish: 236.56

Ingredients:

6 – Pomfret (medium sized)
10-12 – Garlic clove
6-7 – Green chili (or 4 spicy chili)
1 1/2 inch – Ginger
1 tbsp – Lemon juice
1/4 bunch – Coriander
2-3 tbsp – Water
2 tbsp – oil
Salt to taste.

Method:

Clean the pomfret properly from inside. Wash it well. If you want to know if the fish is fresh press your finger on the flesh. The flesh will spring back to its original shape if it is fresh.
I cut off the head of the fish but if you like it you can keep it. Dry the fish on both sides with a tissue. Make 3 cuts on both sides of the fish. Keep it aside and prepare the paste.
Now in a mixer put ginger, garlic, green chili, coriander, lemon juice, water and salt. Grind until paste like consistency. If needed add little more water. Put the paste properly on the fish. See to it that you put it in between cuts too.
On a non-stick pan, put 2 tbsp oil Put fish on it. Cook the fish on medium to low flame. Let it cook on one side before turning it on another. Cook well on both sides. Let it brown a little.
Serve hot. Enjoy!

Happy munching!🥬🌶🌰🍤🍽
